I am visiting London on a business trip for a few days. The photo shows me during a break in the conference, enjoying the view of St Paul's. I won't get to see as much of London as I'd have liked to so have decided that I will bring the family at the end of the year. I may well be in touch to arrange a photo shoot of the family in different parts of London - it would make a great unique keepsake of our trip.

Lidia was born in 1991 in Catania, Italy. Armed only with a very simple Reflex camera and eager to learn, she moved to Milan to join Istituto Italiano di Fotografia. Here she had an opportunity to deepen her knowledge of photography. After graduation she decided to enter showbusiness (naturally, behind the lens) and worked at Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, photographing actors, musicians, shows, concerts.
Currently Lidia works throughout London, Milan and Catania. She collaborates with many magazines, such as Kairos Magazine, Musica Jazz and a many theatre companies. She also loves reportage and Street Photography and her pictures have been displayed in many exhibitions in Italy. Among these was her personal exhibition "Semu tutti devoti tutti" in Catania.
Lidia defines herself as a lover of the kind of photography that, like Bresson said, "captures the moment". For her, a good photographer should be able to transform moments of everyday life into beautiful scenes, that the eyes of normal people would not see.
